I'm an experienced performer of more than 20 years, played local and regional bars, fairs, festivals, etc., and even opening for major acts on occasion, looking to find some more work locally/regionally. I'm in the Southern Ky./Northern Tn. area(Bowling Green, Ky.), A bit disillusioned with the state of local venue options, thought maybe some fresh stages might bring the fire back.
I am mainly a lead vocalist/guitarist but have some experience with Bass, Keys, and Drums. I've covered just about every genre, but probably more knowledgeable in the "Classic/Southern Rock" category. Vocally I've covered everything from George Jones to AC/DC. As far as the guitar goes, I'm more comfortable calling myself a rhythm guitarist, but can handle some lead. I'd like to think my vocal harmony is pretty good also. I'm also pretty handy in the studio.
I am committed to a band locally, we've been together 13 years, but do now have some time available for other projects and/or fill ins. I've notice lately a lot of venues utilizing small acoustic acts and would definitely be interested in anything of that sort, (have lots of experience with that) but I'd likely be interested in just about anything that didn't conflict with any booking with my regular gig.
